The Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort is located at 3000 S Ocean BLVD in Myrtle Beach, SC. The resort is situated on 16 acres of beauty featuring indoor and outdoor pools, BBQ grills and lots of additional amenities. Though it is not exactly on the ocean, it’s across the street from the wonderful coastline with its own private oceanfront beach club with pools and a private beach access. It, undeniably, is the perfect place to enjoy your vacation in the sun.
The Lagoon Pool Bar opens daily at 11 am and has drink specials daily from 4 pm to 7 pm during happy hour. They serve a number of drinks including smoothies or alcoholic cocktails. They also have a light menu including sandwiches and wraps. Located just a short drive away is outlet shopping, stellar golf, and a 350-acre dining and entertainment complex, water park, shopping and more. If you are looking for a quick bite there is a Marketplace Grab and Go that has lunch. It is also popular among casino players from across the globe. The Marketplace has a light menu including sandwiches, salads, wraps and pizza.
Each spacious condo and room features a color satellite/cable TV, stereo and a DVD/VCR player. In room video game rentals are available so you can leave all the game systems at home. There are video rentals available on property. Perfect for an evening in with the family.
Upon arrival a bellperson will assist you with your baggage if so desired.
You will have three accommodation categories to choose from. Some offer more than others. You have a choice of the regular guest room which features a full kitchen with coffee maker, stove, oven, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, toaster, a mini-fridge, as well as all your glasses. High speed wireless internet connections are available.
The Executive Club Level and the Suites feature all the electronic features of the guest rooms with the kitchens coming equipped with a coffee maker, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, and toaster. You also have all glassware, silverware, and plates. These rooms are also equipped with wireless high speed internet.
There is a wide variety of daily activities available for any age group. Activity times and locations vary, so you will want to check their activity guide that is presented at check in and is great for your vacation planning. The resort offers limited daily housekeeping or weekly housekeeping. For your convenience there are also onsite self-service laundry facilities. In the business center you will find a computer for email with high speed internet and a FAX machine.
My favorite time is spent relaxing with the spa features of the Sauna and Whirlpool. For those items you forgot from home the property has a convenience store and for those last minute souvenirs the gift shop has you covered. Great Concierge Service helped us pick the perfect location to eat and dance and the kids love the Alligator Adventure that was recommended. They are available on site from 9 am to 9 pm. If you happen to be flying no need to worry; the resort has a car rental desk (Enterprise) located on site from 9 am to 9 pm . It is located about 4 miles (6 kilometers) from the airport. It is just a short 10 – 15 minutes by taxi. One-way should run about $10.00 (USD). The resort has ATM/Cash Machine which is nice, so we did not have to find a bank.
The front desk had safety deposit boxes for any valuables we may have had too. Another nice feature we noticed in the heat of the summer was the resort had many public areas with A/C. No matter if you are taking in a show, relaxing on the beach, or grilling with the family; Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort is the ultimate spot to spend your holiday vacation.
